Dr. Garza has been in dental practice for 30
years. Dr. Garza attended undergraduate studies at SchrienerCollege
in Kerrville, Texas and at The University of Texas at Austin. He attended
DentalSchool at the University of Texas Health
Science Center at San Antonio
(Rated #1 in the nation by the U.S. News and World Report) graduating in 1979.
Dr. Garza is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental
Association, and the Capital Area Dental Society. Dr. Garza enjoys
learning the latest in dental procedures and technology. He is member of
the local Seattle Study Club and enjoys other continuing education experiences
averaging approximately 36 annual hours of continuing education.
Dr. Garza enjoys all phases of general dentistry, referring patients to
specialists when necessary. He is fluent in English and Spanish and
enjoys the diversity of patients that are drawn to his practice.
He serves his community by being involved in Scouting as an adult leader for
Troop 256 and serves on the executive board of the Capital Area Council.
He is a member of the South Austin Rotary Club and is involved in their Meals
on Wheels Program.
Dr. Garza and his wife, Elizabeth have been married for 28 years and have four
children. Jonathan, the eldest, graduated from Georgia Institute of
Technology in Atlanta
with a degree in Business Management with a minor in Economics and a
certificate in finance. Their second son Aaron, is a first year Medical Student at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Their twins, Joshua and Caleb
are 10th graders.
In his leisure time he enjoys playing tennis, golf, hunting and walking his
beagles, Michael and Princess.
